Gatorshield tubing has a triple layer of zinc coating for rust and corrosion resistance. The design criteria conform to the 2010 California Building Code. All steel members are powdercoated and shipped directly from factory.
The school district must hire a welding inspector to oversee the shop welding (in-plant inspection).
There must be an IOR (field inspector) to oversee the installation/sitework. The footings must be inspected before pouring concrete. The inspector must be DSA approved and will be engaged by the school district.
